2021 Leadville Trail 100 Race Colorado

Buena Vista CO was our stop for the Leadville Trail 100 race.  It was a little far from the starting line in Leadville but closer to the area where Jeff needed to be with our daughter in-law Bret to help our son Brian who was a runner in the race. I stayed back in the motorhome to take care of our grandkids Harlow and Henry.

A 100-mile running race takes a small village of people to support in many ways and to also assist the runner at several checkpoints along the route. We got into the area early enough to explore Buena Vista, Salida and Leadville. The race was a success for Brian, and he went home with a race buckle!
