2023 Casa Grande Arizona
Casa Grande was the location of our next stay. We hiked in Casa Grande Mountain Park...
...and the Hieroglyphic Trail in Gold Canyon.
We drove out to the Apache Trail (this was a stagecoach trail that ran through the Superstition Mountains) and stopped along the way in Tortilla Flats (the last surviving stagecoach stop along the Apache Trail).
Other places of interest that we visited are the Goldfield Ghost Town…
…Superstition Mountain Museum
…and a hike to Hole in the Rock in Phoenix.
