2023 Tucson Again as We Head East

It was time to start heading back east which required another stop in Tucson. This time we went to Tombstone and Boot Hill Cemetery.  While in Tombstone, we took a rest in the coffee shop. The owner told us that his shop used to be the funeral home and he gave me a tour. I didn’t take any pictures, but I can tell you it was pretty eerie! His shop is also supposedly haunted. No ghosts showed up just really good coffee.

We also toured the Bird Cage Theater. Stored downstairs among other relics is the hearse that was used from 1881 to 1917. Also downstairs is the poker table where the first single game of high stakes poker began which ran for 8 years, 5 months, 3 days. This game has gone down in history as the longest poker game ever played. This place is said to be haunted which it might be but we didn't see any this visit.

Bisbee was another town we visited. It was an old mine town that now seems to be more of an artist town. It’s very unique and historic. It’s another place that gets very busy over the weekends.
