In the Beginning

Many have asked us where we have been and/or have asked us to send pictures which we haven’t. So with that, we decided to update our website with our story highlighting many of the places we have stayed or visited. At times there were stays in between stays for an overnighter or even a few uneventful days that we will not bore you with.

Throughout our many years together, we have traveled to many states and visited many interesting places via road trip, plane or cruise to name some such as Savannah GA, Charleston SC, Washington DC, Williamsburg VA, Alexandria VA, all over NJ, All over FL, Valley Forge PA, Historic PA, NY City, Boston MA, Martha’s Vineyard, Bar Harbor ME, Providence RI, New Orleans LA, Houston TX, Dallas TX, Galveston TX, Gatlinburg TN, Nashville, TN, Ashville NC, Boone NC, Chicago IL, Milwaukee WI, Great Sand Dunes CO, Pikes Peak CO, Denver CO, Garden of the Gods CO, Badlands SD, Mt Rushmore SD, Crazy Horse SD, Custer SD, Seattle WA, Spokane WA, Coeur d’Alene ID, Boise ID, Vancouver BC Canada, Juneau AK, Skagway AK, Ketchican AK, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, St Thomas, Cozumel and Cancun Mexico.

Our road trip stays started with us tent camping. Jeff would’ve preferred primitive camping, but he knew the only way to get me to go was to find campgrounds with power and water. He would pack the tent, air mattresses and fans and anything else needed to keep me happy. We eventually graduated to a small travel trailer then 2 more with each being bigger and better than the last. After the last of the three kids left home, the last travel trailer was traded for a Class B. We were very fortunate to have had our kids with us back in the day creating memories. Now we’re both retired, and it’s time for us to continue our travels.  August 2020 and after putting on 100,000 miles, we traded in our Class B motor home (a gloried self-contained van) and bought a Class A motor home (a condo on wheels) to continue our dream.
